Warranty Coverage

Liquid Skateboard ApS (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides a 1-year limited warranty from the date of delivery against defects in materials or workmanship under normal, intended use.
This means that if your board develops a malfunction due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the defective part at no cost to you.

Covered under warranty (examples):

  • Electronics (motor, ESC, sensors, control system, battery, BMS).
  • Structural deck integrity (not related to crash damage).
  • Charging components.
  • Any factory assembly issues (loose wiring, faulty soldering, defective components).

What’s Not Covered (Normal Wear & Tear + Misuse)

The warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by normal wear, misuse, accidents, or modifications. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Wheels & Polyurethane (PU) sleeves – expected to wear down with riding.
  • Bearings – subject to dirt, water, and wear from use.
  • Grip tape – will naturally wear over time.
  • Bushings, pivot cups, washers – standard skateboard parts that compress with riding.
  • Scratches, dents, chips, or cosmetic damage from normal use.
  • Damage from impacts, collisions, drops, or improper storage (e.g., water damage, exposure to extreme heat/cold).
  • Consumable parts like screws, nuts, and bolts.
  • Battery degradation over time (gradual capacity reduction is normal for all lithium batteries).
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications (opening the ESC, modifying firmware, using non-official parts).
  • Improper charging (using non-original charger or exposing to unsafe conditions).

Rider Responsibility

To keep your board safe and under warranty:

  • Always charge with the provided charger.
  • Do not expose the board to rain, submersion, or excessive moisture.
  • Store the battery in a dry environment, away from extreme temperatures.
  • Use the board as intended (urban commuting / leisure riding, not stunts, downhill racing, or towing).

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Contact our support team at [support@liquidskateboard.com] with your order number and issue description.
  2. Provide photos or videos if possible – this helps us assess quickly.
  3. We may ask you to return the defective part or board for inspection.
  4. If approved, we will repair or replace the defective component free of charge.
    • In some cases, replacement parts may be shipped directly for easy self-install.

Limitations

  • The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser.
  • Warranty period starts from the date of delivery.
  • Liquid Skateboard ApS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the product.
